Overview
The Women Development Centre (WDC) at University of Okara is dedicated to fostering female empowerment, gender equality, professional skill-building, and personal mentorship. Established as a proactive forum for female students and staff, WDC organizes career counseling sessions, awareness workshops, entrepreneurial galas, and leadership summits.
Mission & Objectives
To provide a supportive, secure, and enabling environment where female students and faculty members can realize their full academic, leadership, and professional potential.
Key Activities & Annual Events
Annual International Women's Day celebrations, poster and business idea competitions, self-defense and wellness workshops, and specialized training programs tailored for young women entering the modern workforce.
