Facility Overview & Objectives
The University of Okara Cricket Arena is a premier athletic venue featuring a standard lush-green turf outfield, multiple tournament-grade pitches, and modern practice net facilities. Dedicated to nurturing cricketing talent, the arena serves as the official practice and home ground for the University of Okara Varsity Cricket Squad. It regularly hosts inter-departmental tournaments, vice chancellor trophies, and regional trials.
Arena Specifications & Facilities
The cricket ground spans a full regulation boundary with well-maintained turf and grass outfields. Enclosed practice nets with safety netting provide a safe training zone for bowlers and batsmen during coaching sessions.
Varsity Training & Trials
University cricket team trials are held at the beginning of each semester. Regular daily coaching and net practice take place from 03:30 PM to 06:30 PM under university athletic instructors.
Ground Booking & Friendly Tournaments
Departmental teams, student societies, and faculty clubs can reserve the ground for organized friendly matches through the Directorate of Sports. Contact: sports@uo.edu.pk.
