Masters in Science Education, Master in Computer Science, Mphil in Inter professional Science Education and Communication, University of Glasgow, UK, PhD in Education, University of Glasgow, UK, Post Doctorate honorary fellowships
Dr. Nasrin is an Associate Professor of Education; currently working as an chairperson of Department of Science Education and In charge Faculty of Education. Her research interests are teaching of Science, Science Teacher Education, Mathematics Education, various pedagogues in learning o Science and Mathematics, Role of Technology in enhancing teaching and learning. She did Honorary Post-Doctoral fellowship in Science Education on exploring the relationships between measured extents of field dependency with the performance in specific questions in various formats from School of Education, University of Glasgow, UK. In her PhD, she worked on the role and importance of Inquiry-based Pedagogy in their Professional learning Experiences in Initial Teacher Education from School of Education. She earned MPhil in Inter-professional Science Education and Communication from School of Education, University of Glasgow, UK. from her experience of teaching and research, she developed her research and teaching interest in qualitative and qualitative research methods and moreover using mixed method research particularly in conducting research in science education and mathematics education. She is also contributing as a Director of Career Counselling; working as a an individual counselor as well as conducting seminars and workshops in building up students vision on thinking about their career opportunities and market trends. She expresses herself as a dynamic person and interested in experiencing various cultures and traditions. She love to travel and relish the opportunity to go to the new places all around the world. She enjoy both reading factual and fictional books and writing.
