Muhammad kamran Abbas Ismail

PhD Scholar (NUML), M.Phil in English Linguistics



A dedicated professional, benefiting from experience working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team of academicians, Mr. Muhammad Kamran Abbas Ismail launched his career as a lecturer in English in January 21, 2011. Currently, he is a Ph.D. scholar at National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad. He has been selected by the Higher Education Commission for Faculty Development Program (Indigenous) for Pakistani Universities, Batch-II, 2019. Prior to this, he completed his Master of Philosophy in English Linguistics from Lahore Leads University, Lahore. His thesis explored the ideologies of Positive-Self representation and Negative-Others representation in discourses like English textbooks. His areas of interest for research activities are; Current issues in Syntactic Theories, Intercultural Pragmatics, Language and Identity Politics, Pakistani linguistics and Indigenous languages of Pakistan, and language policies.
