Dr.Khalid Nadeem

Associate Professor

PhD Physics



Dr. Khalid Nadeem Riaz (N.R. Khalid) completed PhD in Physics with specialization in Material Physics from Bahauddin Zakaraiya University, Multan, in 2014. During PhD studies, Dr. Khalid Nadeem Riaz visited Department of Material Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, P.R. China for 06 months under IRSIP, HEC scholarship. Dr. Khalid Nadeem Riaz has worked as Assistant Professor of Physics at University of Gujrat, Gujrat from 01-04-2015 to 06-09-2021. Dr. Khalid Nadeem Riaz joined University of Okara on 06-09-2021 as Associate Professor of Physics. He has published more than 100 international research papers with total impact factor 300, h-Index-35 and total number of citations about 4250 (source: Google Scholar). He has also edited 07 books chapters in well recognized books published by Springer and Elsevier. Recently, Springer Nature has published his authored book with title “Photocatalysis and Nanomaterials in Chemistry: Mechanistic & Experimental approaches”. Dr. Khalid Nadeem Riaz has completed two SRGP research projects of HEC as PI and Co-PI. He has also completed one NRPU, HEC project of Rs. 4.57 million in 2020 at University of Gujrat, Gujrat. He has supervised 24 M. Phil and 01 PhD students and currently many M. Phil and PhD students are working under his supervision. He has got research productivity awards from Pakistan council of Science and Technology in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
