FACULTY PROFILE
Dr. Shaheed Ullah
Assistant Professor
PhD Chemistry
Dr. Shaheed Ullah is serving as an Assistant Professor in department of chemistry at the University of Okara, Pakistan (2020 – to date). In 2019 he completed his Ph.D. in chemistry at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. He earned his M.Phil. and M.Sc. Chemistry (Inorganic/Analytical), from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan. His research interests include designing inorganic-organic hybrid nanomaterials, inorganic nanocrystals, fabrication of MOFs nanostructures, and the manipulation of these materials in organocatalysis, electrocatalysis, energy storage and conversion as well as their electrochemical and photochemical properties, with a current emphasis on nanoporous materials. Moreover, his research group seeks new ways for recycling of biomass, and polymer waste into valuable products. Dr. Shaheed Ullah has published high-impact papers in international peer-reviewed journals and presented his work at various national and international scientific forums.
