Dr. Adeel Riaz

PhD (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology)
Adeel Riaz serves as Assistant Professor (IPFP) at Department of Biochemistry. His interdisciplinary research focuses on emerging epigenetic modifications including DNA and messenger RNA methylation, its association with important plant traits to gain insights into plant improvement and stress response. He is particularly interested in revealing the methylation patterning among plant species and their conservation with other eukaryotes to dissect associated cellular and biological mechanisms.
