Sayed Muhammad Ahmad Hashmi

MPhil Applied Linguistics



Syed Muhammad Ahmad Hashmi is currently working as Lecturer (BPS-18) in Department of English, UNIVERSITY OF OKARA (UO), Renalakhurd, Pakistan. He did his MPhil in Applied Linguistics from Government College University, Faisalabad in December 2018 and joined the Department of English University of Okara in December 2019. He completed his M.Ed from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad in 2016. He did various projects, investigating the role of the English language in Pakistani literature. He has also made some efforts as a linguist to uplift Punjabi (local language) to help the society in advance use of technology. He has 12 publications in his credit in ISI indexed journals. He has also been the part of British Council as an Expert Trainer (ET) in a project named as Punjab Education and English Language Initiative (PEELI) to enhance the quality of classroom teaching from 2017 to 2019.
