MPhil Communication Studies (Professional Track)
Program Structure
The MPhil Communication Studies (Professional Track) program is designed to add another dimension to this degree, through innovative, creative and critical analysis techniques to explore the media and communication issues with reference to the content production, presentation and its consumption in society. Research projects that would be undertaken during this program would allow them to provide solutions and understanding of the ongoing issues of communication within the media industry, academia and society. Having MPhil Communication Studies degree in Professional Track would empower students with the complete understanding of the mainstream media organizations, production houses, film and TV studios and digital platforms; so that they could serve at managerial and decisive positions during their employment.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must have completed minimum 16 years of education (130 Credit Hours) in the Media Studies subject with at least 45% marks. The applicant must have acquired the requisite academic qualification on or before the admission closing date.

Degree Completion Requirements
For awarding of MPhil Communication Studies (Professional Track) degree, a candidate will first have to complete 24 Credit Hours of course work, and then, he/she has to submit a 6 Credit Hour Practical Field Project.
