UO Hosts Dr. Steven Granich from Lock Haven University, USA

The University of Okara (UO) is pleased to have Dr. Steven Granich from Lock Haven University, Pennsylvania, USA. He will be delivering a series of interactive lectures on Culture, Research and Publication. Today, as part of his series of lectures, he gave an insight on the significance of research culture, and what points should be highly emphasized while pursuing an effective research. He in detail explained the importance of a synopsis and research methodology during execution of a research, and helped some of the participant students in this regard as well. The honorable Vice Chancellor of UO Dr. Zakaria Zakar thanked Dr. Steven Granich for sharing his amazing experiences with both the faculty and the students, and explained that such interactive sessions provide an excellent platform for all of us to understand how the research culture in various parts of the world exist and function. The Director Institute of Social & Cultural Studies, Punjab University, Dr. Rubeena Zakar and heads of various academic and administrative departments along with MPhil and PhD students of Faculty of Education, Department of Botany and Department of Zoology. The event was organized by the UO’s Directorate of External Linkages (DEL). The Director, Dr. Syed Abdul Waheed welcomed the guest and explained the objectives of Dr. Steven’s 4-day visit to the University.
